Dr Yang is Senior Scientist and Scientific Director of an integrated citywide graduate medical education program in radiation oncology at California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute. His research focus is on overcoming the challenges of multidrug resistance in cancer cells, and includes the study of novel second-generation derivatives, development of new anticancer drugs, chemoradiosensitizing agents, and investigation of mechanisms of drug action.
Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from Dartmouth Medical School.
